On the Tioga Road (Highway 120), about one hour north of Yosemite Valley, at 7,700 feet (2,300 m) elevation

All campsites: approximately July through early September (view this year's estimated opening and closing dates)

No reservations are available; the campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis. $12/night

Campsite Details
Tent sites: 75 (RVs and trailers are not recommended)

Each campsite contains a fire ring, picnic table, and food locker [33"(D)x45"(W)x18"(H)], and is near a vault toilet. Stream water must be treated (by boiling, using a filter, or using iodine). No potable water available.

Dump station: No, but available summer only near Tuolumne Meadows Campground and all year in Yosemite Valley (in Upper Pines Campground)

Showers: Yosemite Valley (Curry Village and Housekeeping Camp)

Accessibility
The following campsites are suitable for wheelchair and include picnic tables with extended tops. The closest restrooms to these campsites are also wheelchair accessible. These campsites are limited to people with disabilities.

Regulations
Pets: Permitted (except in group and horse sites; must be on a leash at all times)
Fires: Wood and charcoal fires are permitted.
People per site: A maximum of six people (including children) are allowed per campsite. There is no limit on the number of tents (as long as they all fit into the campsite).
